On Saturday 2nd December 2023, come and join us for a fantastic festive community celebration with plenty of entertainment, free activities and market stalls to shop for Christmas gifts. There’ll be festive music and street entertainment while you catch up on your Christmas shopping or enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate in our cafes.

12.30pm St James Church Choir will be performing in the square

 

1.30pm Stephen Howgego Opera Singer is back for another fantastic show of festive songs.

 

Activities from 12pm to 3pm

 

Our friends at Custard Storm Productions will bring us stilt walking, juggling, roaming magic, face painting and children’s family show

 

Young and old can join our artist Sarah Sparkes and help her to make seasonal shapes from colourful textiles and ribbon for families to decorate and hang from the trees and architecture of The Market Place. Our artist elves will be guiding you to create beautiful decoration in our craft workshop.

 

Father Christmas

Our very own Father Christmas will be delighting children and offering small toys courtesy of Games Club UK stall.
