Artist’s Talk

I wanted to create a form of art that worked as well in an art gallery as it did in my local pub.

In 2007 I started lugging my portfolio of drawings around bars to see how people reacted. I would get up on stage in between rock bands and comedy acts and I would talk about my art works in front of live audiences.

Later I presented the same lectures in museums, art colleges, galleries and other institutions.
