FRINGE COMEDY PREVIEW
DOUBLE BILL :
CHARLOTTE YOUNG : TWINLESS
Formerly of comedy double act Mono-Z, the recent death of her professional partner and twin sister has left Charlotte Young traumatised, destitute and with an hour to fill. Companionless, she now pieces together the tattered remnants of their unique life, and her siblings’ untimely demise at Watford Gap motorway services.
THE FROG MORRIS REVUE
Frog Morris presents a unique revue of comedy, music, fortune telling, dog handling, onstage Action Painting and poetry about pig breeding, accompanied by a select choice of special guests. Well established in the fine art circles, Frog’s eccentric brand of performance has appeared in museums, galleries and festivals across Europe.
Both shows are by fine artist who have recently moved onto the comedy circuit. Young and Morris have been heavily influenced by their experiences in controversial world of contemporary art. They are both developing comedy shows which are experimental and fabulously unnerving.
The evening takes place in the Montague Arms, one of the few great unspoilt traditional boozers left in London. Don’t miss your chance to see London’s best new acts in London’s best old pub.

Death is rubbish. Distressing. Heartbreaking. Sad. And a bloody inconvenience if the death in question isn’t yours. What’s worse is if the death in question leaves you with bills to pay, contractual agreements to fulfil and a severely broken ankle.
Formerly of comedy double act Mono-Z, the recent death of her professional partner and twin sister Emily has left Charlotte Young traumatised, destitute and with an hour to fill. Companionless, she now pieces together the tattered remnants of their unique life, and her siblings’ untimely demise at Watford Gap motorway services. The ashen remnants of Emily’s actual body have been unceremoniously scattered in various locations within the M25.
Charlotte Young is an artist who creates work using performance, video, installation and comedy. Her work has been exhibited throughout the UK and internationally, including ICA, Tate Britain and ABC No Rio, New York. She has performed alongside artists such as Simon Munnery, Bob & Roberta Smith, Kevin Eldon and Aaron Barschak, but you probably won't have heard of them unless you've spent as much time watching late night telly as she has, rendering this entire sentence largely irrelevant and unimpressive. In 2008 she won the Owen Rowley Award for Art (£600) but did not invest this money wisely and is now receiving benefits.
