Frog Morris presents a unique revue of comedy, music, fortune telling, dog handling, onstage Action Painting and poetry about pig breeding, accompanied by a select choice of special guests.
Well established in the fine art circles, Frog’s eccentric brand of performance has appeared in museums, galleries and festivals across Europe.
A graduate of Goldsmiths Master of Fine Art programme in 2007, Frog was quickly noted for his eccentric performance art practice. He has worked alongside some of Britain’s best loved contemporary performance artists, including Bob & Roberta Smith, Gary Stevens, Kim Noble and Mark McGowan.
Since 2007 Frog has been hosting a regular monthly variety show in the Montague Arms in New Cross. His shows are an eccentric mix of comedy, poetry, music, games and contemporary art. The night has earned a loyal following and launched many unusual acts. Frog performs there every month.
The Frog Morris Revue collects together some of the finest moments from the many shows where he has appeared.
Frog will be giving a lecture about art and performing some of his famous poetry, with titles including ‘I was the Pig Semen Delivery Man’, ‘He’s an Angry Badger’ and ‘Darling, you are more beautiful than a pub’. Frog Morris has also invited some very exciting guests.
There will be live World Championship Action Painting with the Masked Mexican Artist.
Dave the Security Guard will demonstrate his special technique for handling dogs.
Mystic Heure will be making psychic predictions and selling a magic potion that can cure any ability to operate heavy machinery.
